Introductory Series

The Introduction to Yoga courses are for students new to yoga. The class meets once a week and introduces the basic principles of yoga poses, relaxation, breathing, and yoga philosophy. Please wear to class comfortable clothing, such as a T-shirt and shorts or leggings (no baggy pants please) and bare feet. Please try not to eat for at least two hours before class; a light snack one hour before class is okay.

Fee for 3 or 4-week series is $65 - the price increases to $80 three days prior to start of series. Preregistration is required. Register early – class size is limited to 20. No drop-ins after the second week please. If it is close to start date, please call the voicemail (510-652-3336) to make sure that there is still space available.
